Manufacturing Processes
Material Powder
Our products use a range of metal powders as the main base material. The production of a good quality product starts with the selection of good quality base materials. The quality of each type of powder (purity, shape, particle size) is determined by its manufacturing process and impacts the subsequent compacting and sintering processes. It also determines the mechanical and physical properties of the product, so we select the best material for the intended usage of the product and desired characteristics of the product.
Mixing
We use a variety of different mixing devices to achieve uniform mixtures of material powders that include Fe, Cu, Sn, and Zn.
Compacting
The mixed metal powder is vertically compressed in a mold using a compacting machine to give it the desired shape and density.
Sintering
The compacted powder is heated to a preset temperature, and the metal particles that make up the compacted powder are bonded together to give the product strength.
Mechanism
Sizing
This is the process of recompressing the sintered material into a mold to obtain high-precision dimensiong and shape.
Post-processing
Vacuum oil impregnation
For a workpiece that has been given the desired shape and dimensions, the process whereby oil is impregnated in a vacuum oil impregnation chamber is called vacuum oil impregnation. The workpiece is placed in an oil impregnation chamber containing oil and the pressure is reduced to impregnate it with oil.
Boyle’s law states that volume changes depending on the pressure of a gas such as air,and the workpiece is impregnated with oil using this characteristic.
Oil pores
Our products are lumps of metal powder, there are gaps between the metals that allow oil to penetrate.
Mechanism
Our products are lumps of metal powder, and between the metals there are gaps into which oil permeates.
