Environmental Policy
In order to ensure the maintenance of a favorable living environment for all organisms, we aim to contribute to making society sustainable through business activities that prevent pollution and reduce the burden on the environment.
- In order to reduce the impact on the environment in the value chain for all of our production activities, we run an environment management system, define targets, and continuously make improvements while all employees work hand-in-hand to reduce the burden on the environment.
- We shall follow laws and regulations concerning the environment and comply with any other requirements that we agree to.
- With sincerity and technology, we shall develop and provide products that can contribute to CO2 emission reduction and saving electricity in daily life in society.
- We shall ensure a thorough understanding of this environmental policy among all of our employees while performing suitable education and training for those concerned in order to ensure sound implementation of the policy.
- Our environmental policy shall be available to the general public and shall be disclosed in accordance with external requests.

PORITE CORPORATION is proud to provide Porite trademark services for powder metallurgy product design, mold design and production, compacting, sintering, machining, and packaging worldwide in order to contribute to the cultural lifestyle of humankind, and to contribute to the preservation of the global environment and environmental protection through the company’s management. As a company from “Sai no Kuni” (Land of Color and Splendor) company from Japan’s Saitama Prefecture with its rich natural environment, Porite declares that, in consideration of this bountiful natural environment, it will leverage the combined strength of all of its employees to drive forward activities for the preservation and protection of the natural environment that are also undertaken in households.

Reduction of Hazardous Chemical Substances
In order to comply with laws concerning the environment both in Japan and overseas, and to meet the demands of the customer, Porite has created a list of substances for which use is prohibited, and proactively works towards the reduction of chemical substances that can cause environmental pollution. This complies with the RoHS directive (issued by the European Union for electrical and electronic products), the ELV directive (for automobiles), and the REACH regulation / SVHC (substance of very high concern), and has been issued for affiliates, suppliers, and partner plants.
Initiatives of the Saitama Prefecture Global Warming Countermeasures Plan
On the basis of the Saitama Prefecture Global Warming Countermeasures Promotion Ordinance enacted in 2010, Porite has implemented its own global warming countermeasures plan in order to reduce the greenhouse gasses it produces in its business activities.
